Terms of Payment

In order to register for the Tournament you must have sent your payment of the Hotel Package (which includes the Registration Fee) by 4th June 2020. The deadline for paying only the registration fee (if you don’t need a Hotel) by bank wire is 6 June 2020, then you can pay for the registration fee only in the Playing Venue at the opening of tournament registrations (June 6 at 2.00 pm at the Conference Hall of the Hotel Kursaal ) with a surcharge of € 10.00.

Advance payment of the “Hotel” Package is required OR the payment of a deposit equal to 20% of the total amount: in any case the balance of the payment must arrive by June 4th 2020, it is not possible to pay at the hotel.

ATTENTION: the stay is considered booked when the payment of the deposit or total balance arrives, otherwise there will be no reservation at the Affiliated Hotel with the risk of unavailability in case of late payment.

It is possible to pay the chosen “Hotel + Registration Fee” Package or pay a deposit equal to 20% of the amount of the Hotel Package chosen exclusively by bank transfer to the following bank account details:

It is, of course, possible to register for both Tournaments and enjoy additional discounts compared to the Special Packages of the individual Tournaments. For those wishing to play both Tournaments can use the form below choosing the Hotel Package that most considers appropriate, will be contacted as soon as possible by the Organization with instructions to finalize their registration. The Hotel Package includes 8 days Full Board for one person from 6 June Lunch to 14 June Breakfast + Registration Fee for the two selected Tournaments.

Behavior in Playing Venue

In the gaming room smoking is strictly prohibited, even if it were electronic cigarettes.

At the end of the game the players are required to hand over the signed form to the referees.

During the game it is strictly forbidden to leave the playing area or to speak with other players. The player has the possibility to speak only with his opponent, with the referee, or with a member of the organizational staff.

Dress Code: it is forbidden to show up in the Game Room with slippers (or in any case open shoes) and / or with a swimsuit or shorts and / or with a undershirt, under penalty of forfeit defeat.

It is strictly forbidden to be in possession of electronic tools that have only the theoretical possibility of communication.

An arbitrator can request a player to be searched. If the player refuses, the referee will apply provisions in accordance with Article 12.9 of the FIDE Anti Cheating Regulation.

Anti-Cheating measures will be provided in accordance with the current Anti-Cheating regulation.

The player who reaches the board with over 60 minutes of delay will lose the game.

The organization reserves the right to make changes to what is reported in the announcement if they are necessary for the success of the event.

Participation in the tournament implies the consent of each player to the publication of some personal data. For minors this consent is implicitly given by parents or by those who exercise parental authority.

How to reach us

Cattolica is a famous seaside town on the Romagna Riviera. Reaching it is really very easy.

From the North it is possible to take the A14 Motorway From Bologna towards Ancona and take the exit (after Riccione) Cattolica – San Giovanni – Gabicce. Once you have exited the highway, turn right in the direction of Cattolica and you can easily reach the city center.

From the South, once again, the easiest way is always the Autostrada A14 towards Bologna.

From the Center and from the Tirrenico side there are different possibilities. One of these is the E45 expressway that starts from Orte and cuts the peninsula in two until it reaches Cesena Nord. From here it will be possible to connect to the A14 motorway towards Ancona. Another possibility is further south, the Contessa called the highway that arrives in Fano and from here take the motorway heading north, Bologna.

The Playing Venue is located at the Kursaal Hotel, the historic Grand Hotel of the City, located in the center of the main square of Cattolica (Piazza Primo Maggio) and directly on the sea, offers a hospitality of the highest level and unique views, with its wonderful baroque profile is certainly the most prestigious of the accommodations in the Queen of the Adriatic. Dating back to the mid-1800s, this impressive seaside hotel is a 13-minute walk from Cattolica train station.
